WELCOME TO VIRTUAL CHURCH!

As we move further into this new era in all our lives, we need to get used to a new normal, but that doesn’t change who we are. As the apostle Paul says in 1 Cor 12:27: ‘We are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it’.

We may be apart for now, but we can stay connected.

Messages from the Leaders

giving (investing in people)

In times of such financial uncertainty it’s difficult to ask, but we would appreciate it if you could continue to financially give.

As we have explored in our vision series in February, our culture here at Bethel is one of authenticity, honour, empowerment and generosity. Now, more than ever before, we have the opportunity to be generous in sharing our resources and financially supporting those in need.

Would you join with us in continuing to be a blessing to others?

Stay Connected

With so much changing right now, we will regularly keep you updated through our website, Facebook page and link group leaders.

We also want to be able to centrally deal with your prayer and practical requests, as well as answer any of your queries about how you can connect with our community at this time. So, if you have any questions or requests please contact us on community@bethelnewport.co.uk.

Focus

We want to create a new sound in the midst of the many voices we’re hearing right now.
A new sound that’s focused on fixing our eyes on the creator of the universe and lifting up the name of Jesus. A new declaration of praise to our Almighty God. A new response in worship, as we surrender to God’s will and rise up as his church at this time.

REFLECT

In the uncertainty surrounding the days ahead, with ever changing government updates and our workplaces, schools and society adjusting to this new way of life, we encourage you to pause!
Take time to reflect on God’s goodness, love and power and Anchor yourself to Jesus, our living hope!
Rest in him, draw from him, allow yourself to be stilled by him. And then reflect upon how the Holy Spirit wants to guide you as we build people and community at this time.

PSALM 27:1 (NLT)

The LORD is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Joshua 1:9 (NLT)

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
